Miss Mahruaiteii Fanai was crown Miss Zofate Chapchar Kut 2007
With highly hope and the most waited event was not a big surprise for ZOFATE in UK.The most sad news about the event was a team from Mizoram could not make for the day due to their VISA issues.But the ZOFA in UK do really had a good entertainment from MIZO famous singer Ms.Daduhi who turn the event with the crowd wide open mouth and enjoying the tunes every time she hold the microphone.Another surprise was from Ms.Grace,Mr.Reuben Pachuau, and four sisters from Birmingham, who present wonderful songs.
The main programmed was conducted by Pu.Jimmy Pachuau,who also inaugurate the celebration with a welcome speech and introduction of ZOFATE,where nearly 80 ZOFA from all over UK turn up for the celebration.Special guest for the event was Pi.Lalremsiami from Delhi India,she shared about the ZOFA brotherhood to work together for the betterment of our society in future,in her speech she talk about the UK, where our ZOFA nation become a lighting of gospel by Wales Missionaries and ZOFATE in UK are lucky to be here where we(ZOFA) become Christian in spiritual and socially educated by them(British).Pi.Lalremsiami also donated £500 for the celebration.
Ms.Daduhi the most famous singer among the Mizo was the main attraction for the celebration with her number ‘Insuihkhawm leh zai I rel ang’ there was a comment from the crowd ‘is that to do with the microphone/sound system or the singers every time they sing,they sang wonderfully with a melodies voice’.
‘Kut as you like’ was another entertainment section hosted by Mr.James Vaiphei with a special number from Mizo celebrity,ZOFA traditional dance and to make the event more romantic was from Mr.Muan and Mr.Siam who sang the song’Mawii’ from the album Mimin Baite.Then Ms.Daduhi sang the song again ‘Insuihkhawm leh zai I rel ang’ with a request from the crowd,where all the crowd join hand together and dance for like two hours.The event end with a dinner party at Pu.Jimmy Thai restaurant.

Tel ve va chakawm ve a. Hemi ka chhiar laia ka duhthusam ve mai mai chu…. He Kut hmang tur hian zuk kal ve ila, Kut zawh hnuah Manchester United ho championship trophy la lai kha Old Trafford-ah ngei mai khan zuk chhim ve ila……. a nuam awm vei.
Thudang alai chuan nizan (Sunday zan) Man United fans rualin champion lawmna chaw kan ei khawm tak asin, Arsenal fan-te in ngeiah.

it would have been more exciting if a team from mizoram could make for the event..any way it was great..to org.for the first time hopefully by next year we could have more interesting programme..i was introduced as misual dot commer by pu.jimmy to the crowd…misual.com have to give me some credit to represent them hahahaha..sorry could upload more pictures..coz i was busy with some other work..so could not take any pictures..i will try to collect from friends ahd upload it..with video clips..which was fully recorded…i think they will board cast in aizawl local tv channel..keep your eye open for the aizawl misual dot commers
