The reverse countdown to the launch of Ratan Tata’s Rs 1-lakh car has begun. The world’s cheapest car will be unveiled just six months from now at Auto Expo 2008 in New Delhi. And when the first commercial unit of the still nameless car rolls out of Tata Motors’ new plant at Singur in West Bengal by July-August next year, it will make or break Ratan Tata’s reputation as a visionary and test Tata Motors’ ability to execute its chairman’s much-vaunted plans.

Prayer Chain: Please pray for the Korean hostages in Afghanistan.
The Taleban have already killed two of the 23 hostages, and threatened to shoot more if their demand of a prisoner release is not met.

Burbura…I have nothing against your prayer chain post and it is good to pray for everyone that we can pray for. However, I get really annoyed when people over-react to certain events around the world and disregard other events. I do not really know why many Mizos are making a big deal out of this Korean hostage story. I am, by no means, trying to downplay this horrific situation, but we Mizos have a tendency to over-react to things we see on TV, read on newspapers etc. I am not saying that you should not pray for those Koreans. I am just saying that if you are really concerned about the different issues of the world, you should include Iraq, Darfur, North Uganda, Israel, El Salvador, Somalia, Ethiopia, American inner cities, Lebanon etc etc etc. in your prayers.

@chiangkuanga, thanks for your advice. I do really believe that we are concern with this world as we are the ambassors of Christ in this world.
Because of my knowlege, and wisdom I can do just a little, but for God everything is possible.
