MAGIC #1

An Indian discovered that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the
computer which can be named as “CON”. This is something pretty cool…and
unbelievable. .. At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn’t answer why this
happened! TRY IT NOW ,IT WILL NOT CREATE ” CON ” FOLDER

For those of you using Windows, do the following:

1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type “Bush hid the facts” (without the quotes)
3.) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it.

is it just a really weird bug? :-??

    That ‘CON’ thing is easily explained… Right from the MS-DOS days,
    (1990s, may be even earlier), ‘CON’ stands for a “device file name”, which
    is not actually a file, but represents a device, and in this case its the
    console, i.e. the monitor when it is in the text mode accepting dos
    commands. In the click-click era of today, however, it is no surprize that
    no mouse users can think of a reason.

    The first number in the “rand” refers to the number of paragraphs and the second refers to the number of sentence in one paragraph.
    even “=rand()”works.

    ABOUT “=rand()”
    It’s a test feature. It’s been in Word for a long time. You can vary the numbers to get a different number of results. The first number is the amount of lines, and the second the amount of times the sentence is printed per line.

    The sentence “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” is a sentence that contains all 26 letters of the roman alphabet. As such, it’s a convenient test phrase when testing things like fonts and markup.
