@ The_Chhamanator : sex ration should be sex ratio- that’s an error that I’ve made
@ Myself : Among the small states, with regards to law and order, keini ai a ti tha chu 1. Puducherry 2. Sikkim 3. Nagaland ( I cannot understand how Nagaland has better ranking than us)
@ Val_brosky
-Agriculture – It’s among the small states only (includes area under cash crop, State GDP, loans for cultivation and Irrigated area.
-Infrastructure- includes puccca road, bank branches, LPG consumer, telephone connection, again we are 4th among the small states (Northeast + Goa, Delhi, Puducherry)
-Law & Order- we’re actually not that bad, parameters are civil policemen/lakh of population, % of pending cases, crimes, murder, kidnapping per population.
– Per Capita Income- Highest per capita Income – Rs 27,733 in Mizoram is high in northeast but not that high – that’s like Rs 2,311 per month only.
-Literacy- regarding the change in literacy – please ask Pu Thangtea
-Poverty ratio- People are poor in Mizoram but by Indian standards not that poor – probably because of our social system – ie, YMA and Church

If it’s among small states, then it is quite reasonable especially Agriculture, that is, 8th out of 11 states, rite?

That is correct. The ranking where Mizoram is always rated high is among small states. It is not a big deal. Moreover, India Today has been favouring states NOT rules by Congress Party for a long time. Just wait their ratings when we (if we are foolish enough) vote Congress to power again.

@ Val_brosky : it’s actually 10 ( Assam is included among the big states)
@ htlau : BPL hi India ram ngaihtuah chuan a tlem pawl kan la ni tho ( guess that’s why we are a developing country)
Regarding this ranking, the condition of Mizoram is BAD, but it looks like other states are in worse condition.

Hey, we got only just above 8 lacs population, even much lesser than Arunachal!!! This ranking kind of thing depends on the flase data input by corrupted officials and does not show the real picture of the state at all.
Go forth and Multiply!!!

Is it possible to “go forth” without multiplying ?

=Go forth and Multiply=
Multiply if you must, but make sure you are able to provide good education and health care to your kids.
One of the reasons for Mizoram having a higher per capita income could be related to it’s high level of literacy.

@htlau : Per capita Income – Per capita income means how much each individual receives, in monetary terms, of the yearly income that is generated in their state through productive activities.
