(sorry i can’t post this in mizo)
some scanners come with the option to convert into MS word. but they still need a lot of editing and correction. unless you enjoy proof reading, i wouldn’t recommend it.
i know of no other way, sorry!

Misual puihna ka ngai i tih bawk a, puih kan tum ang che. Kum 2 chuang ka post loh hnuah ka rawn post leh phah a nih hi.
(1) I lehkhabu-te chu OCR-in scan vek la (ABBY FineReader a tha). OCR software hmang hian eng text format (txt, rtf, doc etc.) pawhin save rawh, a pawi lo.
(2) OCR-a i scan chu MSWord-ah copy/paste lut tawp rawh (OR I document scan tawh sa chu MSWord-in hawng mai rawh) MSWord document chu doc. format-in save leh la.
(3) Here’s the part you want:
(A) MSWORD HMANGA CHAPTER BY CHAPTER-A SEARCH CHHUAH ZUNG ZUNG DAN (HYPERLINKING):
(ii) Tichuan…. I lehkhabu (document)-a Chapter-1 ah kal la (Table of Contents-a Chapter-1 ni lovin).
(iii) Chapter-1 tih hma chiahah khan ‘insertion mark’ (kha, thil awm thla, chhut luhna, phe zeuh zeuh kha..hehe!!) dah rawh.
(iv) Chuan…Menu-ah kal la. click: Insert—-> Bookmark.
(v) ‘Bookmark Dialog Box’ a lo lang ang a.’Bookmark Name-ah—-> ‘Chapter-1’ tih type lut la. ‘Sort by’—->’Name’ thlang la. ‘Add’ tih click la, Chapter-I a in-add ang a. Close la.
(vi) ‘Table of Contents’ i siam tawh saah kal chho la. Chapter-1 (leh a page no. nen vek) ‘Select’ rawh.
(vii) Chapter-1 i select hnuah right-click la. Choose—->Hyperlink.’Insert Hyperlink Dialog Box’ a lo chhuak ang a.
(viii) Vei lamah—->’Existing Web page or File’ thlang la.
(ix) Ding lamah—->’Bookmark’ tih thlang la. Box dang a lo chhuak leh chhawng ang a. ‘Bookmark’ tih hnuaiah khan ‘Chapter-1’ tih a lo lang a. Kha kha click rawh.
(x) Chuan…. Table of Content-ah khan Chapter-1 khan ‘Ctrl+ leftClick’ rawh. I Document-a Chapter-1 ah a kal nghal zawk mai ang. Hetiang ang hian Chapter dang zawng zawng pawh kha ti vek rawh.
Note: MSWord hi MSOffice 2003 ka hmang (MSoffice 2007-ah a kal dang a dang daih ang). A chunga guide khi MSWord Help-a chhiar i duh chuan press F1—-> Search—-> Hyperlink chhu lut la, a ni mai.
(ii) Text selection Tool hmang khan i document-a Chapter-1 hma chhiahah khan ‘insertion mark’ dah rawh (Select vek suh).
(iii) Right-click la. Choose ‘Add Bookmark’
