1. Open My Computer
2. Goto Tools & Click Folder Options
3. Click View button
4. Go to Advanced settings and select the radio button “Show hidden files and folders”.
5. Scroll down a little bit and deselect “Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)”
6. Click Yes button
7. Click “Apply” button
8. Click OK button.

go to your backup drive again and check whether all your files are visible.
