4 detained in BPO employee gangrape case
New Delhi: Four persons have been detained in connection with the rape and abduction of a Gurgaon-based call centre employee in south Delhi with the investigators saying these people were “very relevant” to the case. The woman was a native of Mizoram.
DCP (South) H G S Dhaliwal said 15 teams were working on the case and they were looking into all possibilities. “We have detained four persons who have criminal background. The suspects are very relevant to the case… We are looking at all possibilities. The detentions are based on some inputs. There is a definite trail,” he said.
However, Dhaliwal said it was an early stage of the probe.

I am a Chinky and its not derogatory when i use it for myself or for my own- but yes i hate it when mainlanders use it for me!!! Mizo hmeichhia te min zuam bik em?? Time to act- there are no two ways about this. The Silent Protest has definitely got some attention but i hope to God this is not just one of our Mizo ‘so hlut reh leh daih’ reactions like the one we often see when we decide to ban non-Mizos on some caught crime and call them back just cos we’re too ‘small’ to take care of our own troubles!!
