4 detained in BPO employee gangrape case
New Delhi: Four persons have been detained in connection with the rape and abduction of a Gurgaon-based call centre employee in south Delhi with the investigators saying these people were “very relevant” to the case. The woman was a native of Mizoram.
DCP (South) H G S Dhaliwal said 15 teams were working on the case and they were looking into all possibilities. “We have detained four persons who have criminal background. The suspects are very relevant to the case… We are looking at all possibilities. The detentions are based on some inputs. There is a definite trail,” he said.
However, Dhaliwal said it was an early stage of the probe.
