India Tv: Three Mizo residents caught at Delhi airport with 77 kg drugs

New Delhi, Nov 14: Three passengers from Mizoram, C. Lalchhal, 28, C. Znanghak, 27 and Zorema, 21, were arrested early this morning at Delhi airport while trying to leave for Guwahati by an Indigo flight.

During random check at the check-in area in Terminal 1D, 77.5 kg of Pseudo-Ephedrine drugs in tablet form were detected in their baggage, CISF sources said.

The passengers were in the IndiGo check-in counter queue for flight 6E 221 bound for Guwahati and they had put in a request to put their baggage as a registered baggage, but in the meantime, they were intercepted.

All the three passengers have been handed over to Narcotics Control Bureau for further investigation.
