If you read the article at newslink carefully, LYE is also mentioned, which is a strong combo of sodium or potassium hydroxide and in high concentrations produces the type of caustic burns that you can see by Googling “potassium hydroxide” for images.
PS: Don’t expect a cute picture pls.

Good point. I wonder what type of scientific test were conducted there before making this tall claim. To detect cancer causing food or other item must require hi-tech equipments and intensive training. Any real news about cancer always apear in the world media, as $millions are spent to find out vaccine and other treatment for cancer.

The level of scientific application in Mizoram was revealed recently when a dead man’s body was identified from the cloth the body wore, which was similar to that of a man missing for some days. It escaped their imagination that such clothes could be put on another man’s body. The police obviously did not think DNA and other normally accepted pathological tests were encessary.

However, fermented pork could not be healthy food as decayed meat always contains excessive amount of harmful bacteria.

Though bacteria and other micro-organisms cannot dwell in smoked foods, but when you “smoke” food, the smoke deposits harmful compounds in them. You know, similar to smoking…
