Video splitting software

August 11th, 2006 3:07 pm by TheHumanBot

I have tried VCD cutter. Free version will not let me export. New video splitter – extracts only 50% of portion marked to be cut. Anybody knows a good freeware/shareware to cut/split .dat files .

BTW, why isn’t ctrl+left or right key work here when I leave a comment. It also doesn’t work in the shout box? :(

I want something that I don’t have to break. As long as possible. I would have gone to serials.ws

As far as I’m concerned, there’s no freeware available. And what about this problem that I’m facing with the Ctrl+Left or right keys when I makes posts??

Well..you can try Windows Movie Maker..which comes along with Windows XP Service Pack..sometimes when I cannot cut video file using VCD Cutter..I use Windows Movie Maker..

Does this happen (only 50%) with only one dat file or with all other dat file ?

Windows Movie maker doesn’t seem to support .dat files.

open the .dat file with your media player > File > Save Media As > filename.mpg . Give the extension .mpg and your dat file will be converted into .mpg which i think is supported by Movie Maker. If you’re using Win XP SP2, the transitions are great, which you dont find in normal editing softwares…

Serial.ws doesnt work most of the time and when u load it it comes along with several virus anyways like someone said earlier theres no free ware ur best bet is the trial versions or u can look it up for a programme on torrent + keygen ..anyways one thing i usually use just to cut dvds or .dat files are premiere elements or another things would be to convert dat files mpg using some other software..
