Akbar Raj remanded to police custody

KOCHI: Akbar Raj, arrested for sending e-mails threatening the lives of the President and the Prime Minister, was on Monday remanded to police custody till November 3. He was produced before the Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate which allowed a police application seeking his custody for further interrogation. Raj, arrested on Sunday, had been produced before the magistrate at his residence last evening and remanded to judicial custody till November 10.

I was wondering about making an OpenBSD live CD with “computer
forensic analysis” tools.

I was following the e-mail threat news and one of the officials in the
Kerala Police said that they didn’t have enough software in the above
category for investigating Cyber crime. The reason was that they could
not afford the cost
