Are you quite sure that she is a ‘poor girl’ ?
From her record sales, she must get quite a hefty royalty, apart from many public appearances in concerts, pageants and other functions over the last several years, well before she was famous in Mizoram, for which she could not have appeared free of charge. if she wished, she could have also appreared in TV commercials, advertisements and other sponsored programmes. Fame means money in this increasingly money-minded world of ours.
