I got a Facebook invitation from a friend. And then came another. This time, I clicked the link to take a look at the face of Facebook. I learned “Facebook is a social utility that connects you with the people around you“. Hmmm another social networking site. I didnot sign up.
Next thing I heard about Facebook is “The kid who turned down $1 billion!” from Rediff newsletter. It’s about Zuckerberg, 22 year old CEO and founder of Facebook.
It’s not the money and business offers that interests me but the following:
He still lives in a rented apartment, with a mattress on the floor and only two chairs and a table for furniture. (“I cooked dinner for a girlfriend once,” he admits at one point. “It didn’t work well.”) He walks or bikes to the office every day.
He looks every bit the geek in his zippered brown sweatshirt, baggy khakis, and Adidas sandals. He came into the room eating breakfast cereal from a paper bowl with a plastic spoon.

If this si true..he got some pretty high hopes for his website….$1 Billion is more than what he will earn even if he lives twice….dont know what to say!!

I am amazed how this young guy could have refused $1billion. I bet if he is 30+ he migth accept. however he is a genius young and hot blooded who knows next year his value may hit $2billion let us wait and watch. Have a nice time in https://www.facebook.com
