Sailutar

Sailutar, which roughly translates as “hanging elephant head” is a village somewhere near Darlawn in Aizawl district of Mizoram.

I have no idea about the history of the village but I think it does have something to do with the elephant head in the picture.

Anybody? I think Zorun is the man for this.

    Sailutar aiin sai note lu tar a vaang zawk ve. Sai puitling lu chu khi ai kihan a lian fe lawng maw ? Tunlaiin kan state ah hian sai hi an la awm em le ?

    man this is the place where i spend my teenage time, i mean not this village, but one of them i’ll say.. when i was 10th grade back in 19** Darlawn is where we used to had our zonal sport.. Sailutar is the palce where we always try to find something… you know i’m saying.. there is a bunch of small village like Kepran, etc… u’ll love the northern placeses cuz, khua leh khua hi a in hnaih hlawm em em a, sunday te hian khaw threnawm nula kan rim pha thrin..
