Hero – Filippo Inzaghi

Once again Inzaghi proved himself to be the great hero in the football history. AC Milan beat Liverpool FC by 2-1 in the UEFA Final which was played in Athens. Thanks to Inzaghi for his two goals. This winning made AC Milan the 8th time winner in the UEFA Cup.

    Though i am a supporter of AC Milan I’m never a fan of Inzaghi. I didnt consider him world class striker. No doubt that he is one of the goal machine in Serie A from his days in Atalanta and Juventus but most of his goals were a profit taken by him through the brilliance and hard work of his team mates. His first goal in the UCL final also was a deflection from Pirlo’s freekick and the second was also only because of the magic thru goal from Kaka. He is a good finisher but not the kind of top striker who was a threat by themselves and Milan was yet to fill the vacancy left by ace striker Shevchenko. But anyway he is in Chelsea FC my favourite FC in the world. Though he have a poor performance in his first season he will bounce back in the new season…Beware EPL defenders….

    was a decent game… thats the way pipo plays.. wont do anything for 89 minutes of a game and one minute is good enuff for him!!! am happy for him actually :) i tot the 2nd goal was pretty decent! effectively killed off the game.
