Aizawl, Jun 8: The Aizawl-based Child Welfare Committee(CWC) has demanded an appropriate punishment for a woman in Aizawl who allegedly poured boiling water on her eight-year-old and five-year-old step-children.
Acting on report of the incident, the CWC had filed an FIR with the Aizawl police station, and it has been learnt that the police will be taking the woman identified as Lalngaihawmi into their custody for investigation.
