Two (2) elephants entered Saihapui ‘V’ village after killing seven persons in a rampage in Cachar Dist. One man Abdul was killed by the elephants and injured 2 persons. The elephants destroyed several buildings. The elephants were shot dead by IR Police with AK47 and SLR as they caused danger to human lives and property.
