Here is a chart showig hierarchical organizationn of Mizoram Police top officials (Click here). DGP at the top, one IGP below him followed by 4 DIG’s and so on. This table showing the top officers is still not updated.
Every police station I know is headed by at least an SI who is more commonly known as O/C (Officer in Charge) and an ASI (Second O/C). At the headquarter of a sub-division, there would be an SDPO. A district capital would have an SP.
In Aizawl, besides the headquarter, I think there are three police stations:
Bawngkawn
Vaivakawn
Kulikawn

Would you like to share your personal experience with Mizoram Police. Have you been arrested? Have you been put in a Thana? I have few experiences with traffic cops. Their names, I remember (not 100% certain though):
* ASI Remlalliana (Place of encounter: Khatla , 1996)
* ASI Lalremsiam (Place of encounter: Bazar Bungkawn, 1998 )
* Constable Vanlalnghaka (Place of encounter: Tennis Court, 1998)
They were all polite to an acceptable level. There was a constable I met at Lengpui Airport in 1999. His behavior was totally unacceptable. This is a different story by itself 
It’s always good to see officer and wrestler Vanlalduata riding his RD 350. Do you still see him these days?

Once while riding with a friend (I’m a good pillion rider), a traffic police caught us overtaking a slow-running maruti car from wrong side. Unfortunately, my friend didn’t have a license and we ended up paying 100 bucks…. 50 for no license, 50 for breaking traffic rules…. that’s what the policeman said.
