If you live in Hyderabad and love Hip Hop, don’t miss D.J. Chriss McGuiness @ Bottles and Chimneys, Nov 15 2007 (8:00P). He’s the real deal…all I can say is Dope/Sick…that’s all..I don’t know about the entry..but try to catch D.J. Chriss McGuiness.
For me he was like Timbaland, because he was one of the people who can create a great sound by mixing Indian/Bollywood and Hip Hop. He is famous for the Busta Rhyme-Touch it(punjabi remix)..now he is working with Ishq…Ishq is about to launch his Album on Nov 23 2007 Poison, Mumbai (8:00P), also on Nov 24 2007 Elevate, New Delhi (8:00P)
When I invite him to play at Aizawl, this is what I get “I would absolutely love to go to your hometown so I would definitely try to work something out”. So cross your fingers it might happen one day.

Real Dj – chu underestimate loh reng reng tur. Music awmsa atang poh nise, an thiam ve na em em chu thil bengchheng a kan ngaih theih tur atang rimawi tak an chhuah thei tlat ani. They are as much a musician as any other musicians in other genres. Chubak chu sawi hrih lovang..debate duh chu ka cho e hehehe ti leh triah triah ila ni mai alom!!

DJ: A person who’s whole responsibility is to make a crowd of people dance and enjoy the night. If a party fails for whatever reason the DJ is usually the scapegoat.
Disc Jockey: A DJ who mixes with vinyl records.
Digital Jockey: A DJ who mixes with CD’s or a laptop.

First of all everything i’ve read about Mizoram seems amazing. the culture, land, and people…..It’s very interesting and looks beautiful.
I have NO clue what you’re all saying…but if I’m right in thinking it’s about whether or not a DJ is a musician, I understand why people would think badly…unfortunately there’s some wack DJs that make a bad name for all DJs…But there are brilliant DJs like Q-Bert who manipulate the records to invent music spontaneously. Personally, I make lots of remixes for myself and then scratch it all together live. There’s alot of powerful new technology coming out these days for DJing and I think it won’t be long before everyone agrees that DJs are musicians.
