Friday, June 27th, 2008A Colorado woman has a summer vacation story that she’ll be telling for a long time. Her sports bra saved her life after she fell and got stranded for several days in the Bavarian Alps. Elana Bruinsma, the victim’s sister, says “the best news ever, after the worst news ever.”
In the story of Jessica’s Bruinsma’s survival the worst is hard to believe. It was last week. Jack was first to answer the phone at his family’s home in Colorado Springs. His 24-year-old sister Jessica was missing. Jack Bruinsma says “I didn’t know what to do, I was kind of in shock.”
