Have you ever feel sad, lonely and depress so much that all you could ever think of is giving up? “I give up“, This is what we often say and in doing so, do we ever feel better? It doesn’t even console us one tiny bit and may even lead to more problems and complicate things. Life isn’t easy,in fact it is full of struggle and giving up is the fastest way to the path of failure. Whenever we are in doubt, trouble and feel left out,we ask our self “Why me God??”. Who are we to even question the authority of God for our misfortunes when we neglect all the showers of blessing he had bestowed upon us?
I was once riddled by God’s work when my mom pass away when I was just a tender age of 8 years old, I could hardly differentiate what is good and evil, so was it because of my sin? Then what about my younger brother who is just a year old and had nothing to do with sin? Does he have to suffer it too? Yes it is true that we have sinned even while in our mother’s womb but from human perspective nothing will ever be fair and we will never understand God’s true intentions. But when i think of all the homeless orphans and children around the world, I came to realised how lucky I am and help me to be content with it. God’s work is mysterious and it is this way He would like to work,we must learn to cope , grab it and absorb it.
Have you ever wondered why God placed Earth on the exact right distance and co-ordinate from the sun where we human could survive or the fresh air that you get every morning or the sunshine,or the beautiful sound of birds chirping or the fact that you even woke up. Are all these natural to you and doesn’t even bother you to thank God for it? The moment you wake up there are millions of people who couldn’t breathe and had to be given artificial oxygen to sustain themselves, people who couldn’t see, people mourning their loved ones. Despite all these we thought it to be a natural cycle and question God in our times of trouble.Yes He is “ God in time of need”, but if we look at the the Bible we know that “God help those who help themselves”.Therefore if we seek help from God, we have to work ourselves first and then surely without fail He will indeed help us. We are humans ,and yes we are imperfect, but these are not enough reasons to neglect what He has done for us.
The moment Adam and Eve were banished from the garden of Eden,we were condemned to earn our livelihood through hard work and sweats. We must face and endeavor all the hardship that we come across in our journey of life. In life we must learn to face our trouble and deal with it, because when life gets to us, it often lead us to thinking that we don’t have any purpose in life anymore. This is one reason why so many people resort to suicide, which is the worst crime you could ever imagine of. When a man feels he has no purpose in life then whats the point in living for him? If a man doesn’t have any purpose then he is equivalent to a stone lying at the bottom of the ocean bed. But it is true that everyone has a purpose and it is how God created us ‘giving purpose to each and everyone’. It is us who often conflicted with God’s plan.
Hard work is the catalyst of Success. Everyone faces a problem at some point of his life, we can overcome all these through hard work and toil. Sometimes it’s good to face problems as it makes us stronger and help us understand the true meaning of life, and after going through all these with hard work and perseverance the reward we harness is always worthwhile and fruitful. Giving up in life can be the greatest mistake and very often we tend to give up before we even try which is indeed a shameful act. There’s a proverb that goes “Tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today“, so we simply have to prepare ourselves today so that we can own the future. We must never doubt God and his work, instead we must embrace Him in our heart and learn to thank Him for everything He had done for us.

Why me Lord?
What have I ever done?
To deserve even one,
Of the blessings I’ve known;
Why me Lord?
What did I ever do?
That was worth love from You,
And the kindness You’ve shown.
Lord help me, Jesus
I’ve wasted it
So help me Jesus
I know what I am;
Now that I know
That I’ve needed You,
So help me Jesus
My soul’s in Your hand.
