Time-ing

Time is standing idly still,
Dozing lightly by my windowsill.
While all around, people are saying
“No time to lose, the world is ending.”
Well, we have news of global warming.
Everyday we hear of terror striking.
Somewhere they say locusts are exploding,
While back at home it’s rats that are teeming.
People in Australia wonder if it’s sewage they should be drinking,
While Britney Spears is once again ovulating.

Me, I lie on my bed simply waiting
For sleep or motivation to come a-calling :p

    Your thoughts and words, I find intriguing,
    short, simple and sweet, yet exciting.
    Maybe we can joke and laugh, while chatting,
    or simply hold hands and smile, romanticizing.
    Hopefully one day, we can go together, shopping,
    to choose your dress, for our grand wedding.
