A common misconception about this song from Linkin Park is it was written by Chester becuase of his history of sexual abuse and drug use. The truth is that Mike Shinoda had been working on the song since 1997.

However Mike Shinoda couldn’t finish the song. Co-written with Chester, it was released a single in 2004. It took Chester quite sometime to perform the song live because the songs reminds him so much of past memories and would always bring him to tears.

There is this story of mine which is becoming “Breaking the habbit” for me. I haven’t been able to finish for more than a year now. I tried once and wrote quite a lot. I deleted it by mistake. Hmmmm not meant to be told I said.

Something inpsired me to start again. I did and wrote some but still can’t complete till today.

Its about my memorable trip to Delhi, walking from Gurgaon to Delhi on foot not knowing where I was to go in Delhi not knowing if I was walking towards Delhi or away from Delhi. It was one hell of a night.

This much, I wrote. I don’t think I will ever sit down to finish it.

I walked to Delhi

Story like this should never be told. I was warned, I brought shame, shock and fear to my friends. Confidence, memory and tale to tell to myself. I made attemp to write earlier. It disappeared at one click for good. This is my second attempt because a story such as this untold is incomplete. I walked from Gurgoan to Delhi one cold December morning.

Lost

The party had ended and I walked towards the parking lot. I remember vague vision of my companions waiting which I soon found myself standing on the dark dark highway alone. I now had got back a bit senses realising where I was heading. Looking straight I saw the unending and dark road and to my left lined several gigantic unlit buildings as if imitating a ghost town. The town had retired for the night and everyone seem to have disappeared. I was somewhere , lost.

Where is Ben?

Every man is an opponent

Finally found my way
