The Personal MBA

Thanks to Abhinav (IIMB’s PGSEM v/s PersonalMBA), yesterday I discovered this course called “The Personal MBA“. Would you spend two years full time at B School or would you read 42 selected business books?

This will need strict self-descipline and dedication but I really like the idea if one has good industry exposure and experience. Can a “Personal MBA” Match the Real McCoy? BusinessWeek has the article.

Interested in learning advanced business concepts, but don’t have the time or money for a traditional MBA program? Business schools don’t have a monopoly on worldly wisdom – if you care more about increasing your effectiveness at work than a diploma and a few lines on your resume, the “Personal MBA” is for you.
