Bun piled up at a tea stall underneath Lingarajapuram flyover, Bangalore

Used to be a big fan of freshly baked and still warm (ur hlim lum vat vat) buns. Anybody from Venghlui here? Remember Pu Chhalliana bakery?

These days, I do not see “vai chhang zuar ” any more when I visit Aizawl.

“Freshly baked and still warm” sawi tuihnai thiam hle mai.
Hmanah Aizawl veng pakhata vai chhang urna hmunah ka lengluta, vai pakhatin chhang (maida) a lo hmeta; kut dum tle rilh relh, kawr bal ve tak leh lu bal ve tak, tawng duh deuh tawngzawnga chil per ve thei tak. A chhang hmehna hmun tak dawhkan chu a tliang hliau va ( a bal zawng2 chhangah a betfai vek nge), mahse a bak chu a rawng ve reng nge a khak dum tlat.
Chhang ur hlim lum vet vet – ka pum ka pum lol!!!

Ka sawi hmaih; chhang hmettupa kha vanneih thlak takin a hritlan loh lai a ni hlauh. Mahse dawhkan chung sira Biri bung chu a fawhna lam a huh hluam. An chhang urna chhauk kha chu a tlo ngawt ang Lei a nia phiahfai chi a ni lo, a khu duh dawn em mai.
