Lavasa is a hill station (a township) sandwiched between Pune and Mumbai that is being developed. It will be partly occupied in 2009-10 and fully developed by 2021.
“Lavasa, a self-contained, modern Hill Station is a subsidiary of HCC Real Estate Limited. It has been conceptualized keeping in view the Government of Maharashtra’s aim to develop the state’s tourism potential around the lakes and in the picturesque landscape of the Sahayadri Mountains. Lavasa is a part of 25000 acres (1/4 th size of Mumbai) of land declared as Hill Station with an extensive master plan covering half that area. A well-planned setting where one can live, work, learn and play in harmony with nature, Lavasa is free India’s largest Hill Station. Lavasa is situated in the Mose Valley around the 20km long Warasgaon Lake.”

Ee ka chhiar zo chiah a, an la siam mek chauh anih hi..hnathawh ve mai mai nan pawh a nawm ve hmel tho ka ti, han awm nan vel maw..a te deuh ang tih mai loh chu it might be quiet relaxing….Keichu hillstation anih vang khian ka lo kal cvhak em em phot mai asin…Hope they can maintain it..seems like they are raising a pretty high bar to reach…goodluck!!
