James R. Ruolngul conferred PhD by JNU

New Delhi, June 26, 2008: James R. Ruolngul (30), S/o Rev. Darsanglien Ruolngul of Sielmat village, Churachandpur district, Manipur has been conferred a doctorate degree by the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi today.

The thesis for his PhD is “Politics of Regional Integration in the Third World: A Comparative Study of ASEAN, MERCOSUR and SADC”. He studied at the Centre for International Politics, Organisation and Disarmament (CIPOD) under School of International Studies (SIS), JNU.

James R. Ruolngul was the ex-President of Hmar Students’ Association, Jt. Hqrs., Delhi for two consecutive terms in 2005-06 and 2006-07. He was also the former Editor of Delhi Thurawn, a weekly bi-lingual bulletin of the HSA, Delhi.

James R. Ruolngul is currently the Principal of a newly established Vision Academy Higher Secondary School in Churachandpur.
