We need change

Majority of the votes received by Obama had been from the Youth community, the people who believe and wanted Change in the system.

Let’s do the same for Mizoram this year.. Our brothers and sisters from home, and the others who can make it for the Elections, lets exercise our votes. Let’s show that we care for Mizoram. Vote for who you believe in, not who others are voting for. We need a change from the current system, before its too late. The time is NOW! I wont be able to make it for the Elections, but lets encourage those who will be.

    Thra khops mai… CHANGE… YES WE CAN.. i’m also not going to make for the election, but.. i hope they elect a good leader.. let’s hope..

    Parliamentary forms of Govt. -ah chuan mimal hmalakna hi a lang sar tawk lo thin. Parliament-ah a del dul tlat. USA te anga mimalin (President) chak taka hma an lak hian CHANGE hi chu a langsar deuh.
    Democracy chu mipui rorelna, mipui ten an duh ber an thlan tlinna ram a ni an ti fo. Mahse, he Democracy-ah tho hian mipui duh ber hian ro an rel kher lo ni te pawhin a lang.

    India has a parliamentary form of geovernment where any party with enough support can stand for elections.. whereas in the US, you have a Bilateral form of Govt. There are the democrats and the Repulicans.. so you just have 2 choices… that promotes a stiff competition and a strong opposition… which is good for either parties..

    I still remember when the ZKP (Zoram Kuthnathawk Pawl), out of desperation, marched into Aizawl to voice their anger and digust at the negligence they have been treated with. The government had 60 years to prepare for Mautam, and this is the best they could do, in fact.. the best they did.. Its simply deplorable..
    In the time when Aizawl is talking about the internet, mobile telephony, and other technological advancements, our leaders cannot use that to their advantage, but rather look for reasons as to why things are the way they are, rather than doing anything about it..
    Unless there is an overall advancement in the state as a whole.. Mizoram can never be wholly advanced..
