An appeal to all the respected bloggers and respected Mizo folks.
Well, we all know that a one sided statement can be of biased nature, and can often lead to a biased assumption. And it is also an open secret that Mizos hate Chakmas like how the Israelites hate Palestinians and vice-versa. Well, there are several reasons for issues like this, blame it on our cultural differences, politization (may not be in the English morphological system…lol) or greed, after all we are just human and its human nature to try to conquer more (same like the Khasis and Garos phenomenon in Meghalaya).
I believe some Mizo folks are even going to the extend of even requesting Lord Jesus to kill all the Chakmas in Mizoram… (sad but true, it can be seen how Mr.Lalthara an elite IAS cadre, manipulated the Chakma story in his book, which, very soon may be used as a Bible by some Mizo folks who hate Chakma’s). But is Mr. Lalthara’s book based on actual facts and figures? Or is it based on his imagination or is it written by him just like how the book of revelation in the Bible is being written? Did Mr.Lalthara had visions of angels telling him to jot down whatever the angel had dictated?
Therefore in order to judge his book, whether it is based on facts or mere hearsay, I on behalf of my Chakma community request the respected editor of this misual.com to kindly let us know the bibliography that Mr. Lalthara had used if possible and publish it here.

Here we should be very careful, both the Chakma and the Mizo. It is always safe for the Chakma also not to talk so badly about the Mizo in Planning Commission and other Ministries. These are officials in the mainland. who has their official friends in central services who maybe Mizo. And mind you these people like to gossip !!! they will tell them how the Chakmas are talking about us Mizo. etc etc. Which is not very good for harmony.

Now all of you hug each other like brothers though from different mother..If i think back about what had been said and done in past..it tears me apart but i love this place mizoram becoz thats where i belong and my birth place..Just becoz some lunatics are saying something we cant just believe everything they write or say.However if something wrong is said or unlawful things are done against us i shall scream and shout to protest for justice..We need to have broader and rational thinking..this human mind is a dangerous thing if not used properly so we should try to use it for good and not for spreading false propaganda and hatred.. We should all work hard to build good relation,fraternity and trust.. \m/

@48…Doniman99. u r right bro. Any unlawful and unfair thing whether said or done should be protested and brought to justice. And we should strive to develop a good relation between Chakmas and Mizos despite our differences in culture. Sabotaging each other will just give a bad image of Mizoram to the rest of the country…
