@Nirvana> I agree completely with what you say. We have been living like beggars for too long – depending completely on the central government for our income. This means even the businesses because their customers are the govt servants. Hei vang hian pride pawh kan nei thei lo, because a vai person can visit mizoram and look around with the eyes of a conquorer since we all depend on them financially.
Opening new businesses etc. is not the solution at the moment (maybe in the long run), since we have to change our mindset to be more productive and ‘taima’. We have been getting subsidies and been living too easily to do an honest day’s work.
Only once are we efficient in whatever work we do (govt. job, small businesses, contract work etc. ), can we start to believe in ourselves to reach out for more ambitious goals like become self sufficient.
